Time for something new!
I'm changing my training split: As many of you know from my consistent posts, I have been utilizing the same training split for quite some time. My reason for having not changed anything is really quite simple. I like to train very instinctively. By that mean I do what feels good and what I like! So I haven’t switched up my training in nearly two years because I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it that much. However, after some recent reconsideration I have finally decided to switch things up a bit. My last workout split consisted of the following: Sunday: Quads/Hams Monday: Chest...
Why you NEED to be deadlifting
For a newcomer to the gym, it can be pretty intimidating the first time you play witness to someone in the act of “deadlifting”. Depending on how much weight is on the bar, you could actually be slightly frightened. The truth is, deadlifts are one of the best exercises one can do. There are numerous benefits to the deadlift, making it a must do exercise in everyone’s training regime (at least in my opinion) Let’s look at some of the benefits in more detail though. Extreme fat burning: Due to the extremely intense nature of a deadlift, it places our...
Time for a break
Way Overdue: Truth be told I haven’t been on any sort of real “vacation” in three years. I’m not complaining by any means, as I could have easily done so if I wanted to. However, soon that will change as I’ll be away from home all of next week! I won’t lie.. I am looking forward to getting away for a week and letting my mind and body rest, Mostly my body lol. I’ve been training extremely hard as of late, harder than I ever have before. If you don’t already know, I regularly hit the gym seven days a...

I actually already had mentioned this in on my IG story earlier this week however, I wanted to make note of it here as well for those of you who enjoy keeping up with the blog. As you all probably know from Instagram, Snap chat etc, I currently am hosting season two of my 30 Day Lean and Mean Challenge....
How did “FitNFat” come about?
The Story: So I’m sure by now many of you, if not all of you have seen the Instagram account my girlfriend Brittany and I had started “FitNFat” which highlights our favorite places to grab some good grub near and far! Being a natural bodybuilder, I do take nutrition very seriously and I remain consistent with giving my body the right amount of nutrients it needs in order for me to achieve my physique goals. Over time my fitness goals have changed. When I was younger I was simply obsessed with being as big as physically possible. I would try...
